I read it with interest, and noted the thing you say about flip-up garage
doors "Gray garage doors have never been found...".
I do have a gray *frame* (and base) for a garage door, although I can't find
any door (at all) right now. Was this gray frame used together with red or
white doors, or have I found something interesting?
As far as I remember, the garage I received around 1960 had only one, white,
garage door, but who can trust memories...

Anders, (you should be getting your CD in a few days) The gray garage frame and base were first introduced in 1966 in the #325 Shell Station, and later (after TLG used up the inventory of white frames and bases, circa 1967-68) the gray garage (...) (18 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.general)

| Even if you don't want to purchase a copy of the LEGO CD, I strongly urge you to get a free sample chapter.... because this is a very interesting chapter.... "CHAPTER 13 - LEGO SETS/PARTS NOT PUT INTO PRODUCTION" (URL) on VIEW A CHAPTER FROM THE CD (...) (18 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.announce) !
