Broken Links in Peeron Catalog Scans

Sometimes I go to Peeron to view a catalog scan, and when I click on the specific page, I get a red "X" (broken link). And then the next day, I go in there, and it looks OK. And then a few days later, I get the broken link again. Is it just my (...) (18 years ago, 21-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The fabulous Clikits girls

It's update time! I've processed 3 new images featuring the Clickits trademark/icon figures, showing Daisy, Heart or Star in sparkling dance-party outfits, as they appear (as some sort of reward, I guess) after you guided each respective character (...)   Re: Classic Windows

(...) Thanks, Gary, That has also been pointed out earlier, but since it doesn't affect the function or "behaviour" af the parts, those differences will be neglected in LDraw. /Tore (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

Doh! I wish you would have told me then! Odds are they just pitched the tubs, and I could have packed at least some of them in my car. The new tubs suck, as the lids don't clip on very securely, and the studs sticking up take up a bit too much space (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

(...) <sigh> I remember when the GMLTC displayed at the Kidvention in LLC way back in '99. I bought 40 tubs from the BIG store. Gave the tubs to some MCs [1] and packed the rest into a rather large box-- thanks to the light-traveling Abner Finley (...)   Re: FINAL Spamcake Diner™ Iteration (Dark Red:-d)

(...) Excellent. Dark red is such a wonderful color! Have you considered a plate layer of dark red underneath the yellow roof? Kind of sandwiching the yellow part between dark red? (...) I am disappointed in myself. I usually keep relatively (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

I usually have to sort Lego that I've bought while in Orlando just so I can fit it in the car ;-) Though since Bley, the amount of Lego compared to other things bought on vacation pales to the past. Gone are the days of heading home with 50 tubs (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage)

Re: Questions about fan involvement with TLC

(...) Yes, my original post brought up a hypothetical example with the 9 volt discussion--the potential of NDA/Ambassador abuse in a situation. And subsequent posts from others outlining how differnet types of abuse may occur shows that people have (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

(...) We flew Northwest; the baggage weight limit is 50 pounds each. (...) Well, in my home, having 10,000s of UNSORTED LEGO in the basement is grounds as well.... :-) JOHN (18 years ago, 17-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

(...) 50 pounds? The airlines didn't charge you extra to ship? Or did you drive? I think in some states, sorting Lego on vacation is grounds for divorce... :) --Mike. (18 years ago, 17-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage, FTX)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

(...) No, I would have the trays they are to be sorted into with me. Gahd but I'm so sick of sorting. I've devoted scores of hours just trying to sort out about 27 gallons. Partly because I have to juggle stack on trays and such when one category or (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: Cleaning Lego

(...) LOL, Chris, this happened to me too! Though in my case the pillowcase wore out after several uses for washing LEGO, and it was random used LEGO rather than a set (I dusted my Space Shuttle as I took it apart a few years ago... it's still in a (...)
