While grading the contest entries in the CCC2, I cam across Lord Mikal’s Sweetie Pie Bakery. Mikal turned the stairs in the backery one turn using what I thought was a 3x3 facet brick, which gave me the idea to go full circle, so to speak. It turns out he used wing plates, but that’s beside the point.

Using his stairs as inspiration, I came up with this design for my new castle:

Anthony, great work! It's simple in it's design, not becoming bulky, and it's not too difficult to build (considering you have the right bricks :-). It makes you wonder why Lego it self never came up with this idea. It would be interesting to see (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)
