(...) Okay, I'm confused. My three tubs all say that they have 1513 pieces. The inventory printed on the back matches that for set 4278, down to using the old grays. But set 4278 is a 1000 pieces tub. So either 1) The inventory on the back is wrong, (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yes, Bill Swanberg inventoried it over on BrickLink and there are 1000 pieces. But it appears that only the first shipments of the tub have the old light and dark grays. Evidently the newer ones are showing up with the new grays. Maggie C. (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)
