With the weird and wonderful variety of models that the Master Builders come up with, you’d think they’d occassionally take a stroll through the parks with the idea of finding a small marketable model in mind.

Ah! Good, they are available! I am never sure what parts have been made for the modelshop that haven’t been made before!

I’m sure you’ll develop a better sense for it as time goes on and you become more accustomed to having to scrounge your own parts. Peeron and Bricklink are both excellent sources for figuring out which parts exist in which colors. Careful attention to the numbers can even give you hints as to how easy it might be to get your hands on them.

You got a better chance of having it released as as set than finding instuctions! We don’t use instructions! It is the masterful use of bricks to come up with the right shape and form, to capture the essence of the blah, blah, blah..... Well I am sure you can figure out the rest! It’s not an overly complicated model, if there were a couple of good close up shots, it wouldn’t be too hard to copy.

I’m the sort of person where if I want a copy of someone else’s design, I like to start with exactly the same design, brick-for-brick, before I start tweaking it. If I tweak it at all. In this case, I’m not sure I would, except maybe to recolor it into a different breed of frog.
