That frog was designed and built by Darren Ward. He was a model builder at Legoland Windsor and Legoland California for about 6 or so years. He’s featured on page 40 of the Ultimate Lego Book. In my opinion, he was one of the most tallented designers Lego has ever had. He is responsible for many of the iconic models at Legoland California.

Soooo...TLC basically owns the design and could produce it as a set if they felt like it? Dude, I would so buy one if they did.

Well, I suppose so, but I don’t see it happening. While technically it IS owned by TLC. It is just a model built at Legoland, therefore TLC has no knowledge of it, or probably any desire to make it into a set. But is is quite nice....

I don’t have any pictures, nor do I know where you can get some, unfortunatly. I think some of the parts may be a bit hard to come by, namely the plate hinges in green (unless they have been released in sets).

You mean like the eight used in the chameleon from #4101 Wild Collection?

Ah! Good, they are available! I am never sure what parts have been made for the modelshop that haven’t been made before!

Hope you can find what you need!

Instructions, at least, would be nice.

You got a better chance of having it released as as set than finding instuctions! We don’t use instructions! It is the masterful use of bricks to come up with the right shape and form, to capture the essence of the blah, blah, blah..... Well I am sure you can figure out the rest! It’s not an overly complicated model, if there were a couple of good close up shots, it wouldn’t be too hard to copy.

Maybe I can try to remember how it was built....
