(...) (URL) elementary>. 8^) Unbridled hilarity aside, the Volvo looks really good, and who can criticize driving safety-awareness? I'm just glad that they didn't choose an SUV as the spokesvehicle. Dave! (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california, FTX)

         Re: Lego Volvo —John Neal
(...) Hmmm. Looks like a moral conundrum for you, Dave! One one hand, Honda chooses to "create" a car in clone bricks (good), but the car is an SUV (baaad). Volvo chooses LEGO (not clone), but also doesn't choose an SUV (good). Just walking a mile (...) (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california, FTX)

          Re: Lego Volvo —Dave Schuler
(...) Whoa--I'm so conflicted. Of course, the Honda was made of virtual bricks, so it's more eco-friendly than the ABS Volvo. Gosh gosh gosh, I can't decide. (...) Hey, get out of my boots! Dave! (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

          Re: Lego Volvo —John Neal
(...) Gladly. Everything appeared so gray while in them:-) Which makes me think to go and build me a police car-- something nice in black and white;-) JOHN (20 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

(...) Oh, cool...I know exactly where those pics were taken! (they're not at Legoland...try the other side of the US...) Scott (20 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)

        Re: Lego Volvo —Ley Ward
(...) Thanks for pointing this out. Moral conundrums aside, it is very cool. I was amused by the comment in the article: "although not drivable" as if that's a surprise to them. Let's see, wheels and drivetrain made of ABS bricks, hmmm... So, am I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)

        Re: Lego Volvo —Darrell Urbien
Maybe this is old news, but there is (another?) LEGO SUV being displayed at the Volvo booth at LA Auto Show this year. I don't remember seeing it there last year, but maybe I just missed it. Not sure if it's the same car that's in LLCA. The whole (...) (19 years ago, 9-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)
