Has anyone else noticed this? It seems newer 1x6 & 1x8 bricks have a • different
mold. See this comparison:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RoscoHead/bricklink/bottom.jpg

The older brick on the left has holes in the bottom studs, but more • importantly,
the flanges on studs 2 & 4 don't go all the way to the bottom of the • brick. The
newer brick, on the right, has no holes and the flanges go right to the
bottom.

Can it be old molds? Wasn´t the "older" bricks without holes?
(I allways thought that the "invention" of holes was a way to make better
economics.. and from what I have read about "Lego-economy" I thougt they
would make bigger holes instead. =)
