Hey, does anyone have one of these they would be willing to risk for a project
like that? (there is the possibility it could fly off and be damaged, though I
have never had a minifigure physically damaged on impact... :)

I have wanted to build something like this for a long time, and I know how difficult it can be to get a complex mechanism to work reliably and still maintain a realistic (...) (20 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
