Hi, Eric.  I hear what you're saying.

Cool man, I know, It's not ment to be a whine.

In retrospect, I shouldn't have included {any} specific themes/generes,
since these were site-wide issues.  Rest assured, |.build.mecha| wasn't
intentionally excluded, nor was |.pirates|, |.aquazone|, |.town|,
|.underground|, etc.

Again, I know, and I appreciate that. Fabuland deserves a shout too.

Kust kidding, darn those animals with their cool hats.

The only reason that |.robotics| was included is because the LEGO robotics
community is somewhat fragmented due to the |lego-robotics| mailing list
(which is linked with |lugnet.robotics|).

Yep, totally, understood.

I then threw in |.trains|, |.technic|, |.castle|, and |.space| because
I started getting cross-posting happy.

Save some for me.

LOL!

Again, |.build.mecha| wasn't left out intentionally, and I apologize if
the Mecha builders feel slighted by this.

That's cool, and I know its hard to remember everyone all the time, trust me, I
see us left out in many discussions and I'm just trying to champion the Genre as
I have always done.

Put it this way, if none of us ever speaks up, we deserve to be left out.
I for one don't want that to happen.

One of my proudest accomplishments is being mentioned along with Train, Space
and Castle during the West Coast Fan Conventions, as well as the other fests/
cons that I have traveled to.

In addition working with the other Founders to create the Lego Mecha Hall of
Fame, of which maintains a healthy position on the Greatest Hits page on
Brickshelf.

Another highlight of the Mecha Community's contribution can be seen in the
current and pending Make and Create sets. The 4099 Robobot, Mini-bots and the
new Mecharobot. All of which originally came about from watching what we in
build.mecha were making.

That landed me in the offices of Lego Direct for a consultation meeting to which
I had the supreme honor of attending.

Hey, and my Build-a-Bot Building Instructions are the most Clicked through Fan
created Building Instructions ever! Thanks Jake!

And ask Mark Neumann how many Mecha questions he fielded during PDX.
Or just see my inbox.

Ok, enough, thank you for this Mecha plug.

Tim, I'm so gonna black your eye!

p.s. The Mecha builders have proudly displayed at every Brickfest/con/
west/xxx, please honor our contribuions by keeping us in the loop,
remembered, crossposted, mentioned, linked too, or what ever, please.
I'm asking.

Awesome, Eric.  Yup, I'll do my best to include the Mecha builders in any
targeted announcements in the future.  However, the problem here is that
this wasn't a targeted announcement.  In other words, it's more likely in
the future that for these types of announcements, Mecha would be left off
along with all the other specific themes/genres.

Todd thank you, fair is fair right?

Like the time I.....
