No, if anything it's still accelarating, but yes as you point out a lot
more people are locating their things on places like BrickShelf and
MOCpages.

The problem with CLSotW is that I never got around to adding a "keep the results
hidden until such and such a time" feature to the member polls.
I used to tweak a setting interally to get this to happen.  Since I haven't
been doing that for several months, and never got around to documenting the
sequence of steps I did in FTX to update the CLSotW area each week, it lost
momentum.

CLSotW actually is 100% updatable via the web (using FTX), although the
polling/voting code needs tweaking so that the results don't show during
the voting/polling process.

When I started Lego surfing (about the same time as Lugnet started) there
were lots of sites but now people seem to mainly post their stuff on
places like Bricklink or MOCpages and then announce them in various
forums. If you look at a lot of individual's sites many seem to have been
created in about '98 and have not been updated since about 2000 if they
are still even online.

Also, the sites that do get nominated via the form @ (URL) kept in a safe place until Todd get's the poll thingie done. The biggest problem with CLSotW - when it is up and running - is the amount of voters, IMHO. It is a big task to actually look at (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)
