Especially be sure to explain to the woman how you like using your hands in a gentle, but creative way. How it keeps you away from watching too much tv or sports, and that it is a creative outlit for you. Also explain how you have a nice job with health insurance (that would cover a wife/kids if such a need arised) that helps fund the collection. then how you’d like to teach children how to play with lego, and how the lego will help you raise good kids.

but really, talk about how gentle you are with the lego - how you like to caress the lego, and just have the touch of plastic in your hands.

Recently, I used the “just don’t bring the Lego addiction up until she loves you” tactic. Then it is too late for her. It worked great! Now I’m getting married next year.

The other thing that works is to build your significant other a gift out of LEGOs :) Seemed to work in my case :) -Anne (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)
