Thanks for taking your time, Jake!
As you might have guessed, I am among the people who do not like the idea of a
(very common and very basic) colour being discontinued and exchanged against a
new one.
It will not be a too big harm to me and my hobby, but I dislike the idea to do
this cost intensitive change with no chance to take it back (which would make
things even worse). I think TLC has a huge effort to do now and the win is so
small (while the loss is quite clear for lots of us AFOLs).
Now I pray for the studs to become NOT changed next.
Leg Godt!
Ben
P.s.: if all products from now will have blue-grey bricks, does that mean ALL
loose bricks that have been in the pipe, have been sorted out and are recycled
or put into the trash bin? Otherwise there might be a terrible mishmash in some
of the future sets. In the past there have been often enough different (updated)
shapes of same bricks used up over some more production runs. For e.g there
are Fabuland Figures around with two different legs. Obviously two production
runs of different legs have been stored in the same bin.... Will that happen
with some of the gray bricks as well? Or are all old grey bricks now gone
(even all gear wheels etc that have always been grey only)?
Just some theoretical questions I ask myself. - No answer needed....
