I can't say I'm all that worried about the new colors. The change in brown
concerns me more than the greys, but for the most part I'll make do and move on.
The one concern I do have is the new Harry Potter sets.
I have collected all the Harry Potter sets and combined them into a giant
Hogwarts. From what Jake has said, ALL the new sets will have the new grey.
Presumably there will be new Harry Potter sets for the 3rd movie, and
presumably, some of those will be added rooms in Hogwarts. However, with the
new grey colors, the walls won't match. The Hogwarts castle will be a mishmash
of grey colors. Has LEGO thought at all about this when they decided to change
colors? Considering they specificly advertise the Harry Potter sets as being
able to combine to create the full Hogwarts castle I'm sure there are plenty of
kids who have done this and they will notice (or their parents will) that their
nice Hogwarts castle no longer matches.
So, any plans for dealing with this LEGO? Maybe a campaign to Warner Bros. or
J.K. Rowling is in order?
