That's really cool.

It reminds me of what I saw on the (new) airport in Oslo recently.

When I went to Thailand earlier this year, I saw some really interesting
vehicles.  The first was on the runway.  We had an early flight, so
there was some icing on the wings.  (As you have guessed, this was in
Oslo, not Bangkok.)  To remove the ice, some really odd vehicles were
used.  They looked like mobile cranes, or telescopic handlers, except
that the driver's cabin was on the end of the boom!  The cabin had some
nozzles which was used to spray some anti ice substance on the wings.

In the same category came a truck, which had something that looked like
a telescopic boom, but the driver could steer the vehicle from a cabin
on the end of the boom as well.  It was really weird to see the truck
driving around, with no driver in the "real" cabin.

I thought about making such vehicles in LEGO while in-flight, but when I
arrived in Thailand, many other sources of inspiration appeared.  There
were the infamous tuk-tuks, the three-wheeled taxi-cabs, as well as long
tail boats and many other things.  See the pictures at the link below
for more.

Beautiful pictures, Fredrik. You're right; there are many Lego ideas in your pictures. I love the scenic beach pictures at Krabi. Joe (...) (25 years ago, 28-May-99, to lugnet.general)
