Me too: thanks Jake, for responding quickly and clearly. That in itself doesn't make the color changes less worriesome, though. See (URL) for my concerns. There's one thing that strikes me in your explanation. You say that the colors were changed (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

As I mentioned elsewhere I can't fathom why TLG thought it worthwhile to create a severe compatibility issue just because some focus group said grey should look more cheerful. Not only will this cause a lot of headaches to me personally on a very (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) LOL! All kidding aside... I actually prefer the non-yellowness of the new greys, and I only wish they'd come out sooner (before I stockpiled wings and wedgeplates). However, I do think it's important to keep the old grey handy for matching (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
