  Re: Improved Pick-A-Brick packing

(...) I posted late last week with my method of packing 137 2x4s with breathing room for lots of small parts.<< Chris I saw that but like I said my comprehension with photos is somewhat limited. :) (...)   Re: New C-C Article: Minifig Torso Designs and Stickers

(...) Thanks! Thanks! :) I'm very happy to be of service to our community. Perhaps sometime soon I'll continue working on my oval shield template and get that article out to the public. Thanks for the reply! --Anthony (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Serf's up, dude! :) I'm glad you liked what I've done, it was a lot of effort. Hopefully it'll prove useful to the community, if not now then in the future. Otherwise I suppose I'll just cower back under the rock from which I came. :) But (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New C-C Article: Minifig Torso Designs and Stickers

(...) Thanks much! Glad you liked what I've done. I did the same as you when I first did stickers, using a glue stick. My only beef with them is that the glue doesn' last very long and after a while the stickers start peeling or just pop right off. (...) (...) And so am I :) (...) I've found it easier to search for uncommon parts of the URL, in this case "popandco". When searching for posts about Brickshelf URL's I usually use the numberstring at the end (62991 from (URL) Flashanimation is, however, (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: why do people hate builders

(...) First let me say that if you want to be taken seriously, cutting out the foul language will be a big help. It doesn't make anyone sound any more grown up, and it can damage people's perception of you if used inappropriately. The same can be (...)   Re: Interesting question...

(...) Quick answer, no. (...) By definition, you're not using 'pure ' parts. (this sounds like an argument about origami - a purist uses one square of paper to make what he wants. Anything else is 'unpure.' How do I know? I do origami, and I am (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I posted late last week with my method of packing 137 2x4s with breathing room for lots of small parts.   Re: Improved Pick-A-Brick packing

Our biggest concern was to see how many 2x4 blocks we could easily get in each cup. So far the easiest way I have found is as below......... (URL) This results in 136-2x4, 1-2x2, 21-1x4, 18-1x2 plus room for a few other little items like tiles. This (...) (22 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Improved Pick-A-Brick packing

I recently made a trip to the pick-a-brick at the Orlando LEGO Imagination Center and spent time stacking bricks to fit inside the large cup. After I returned home and counted my booty (1071.67 cubic bricks) I decided to investigate what the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping) !

That is so cool. I'd never seen it before. In Legoland California (and presumably other Legolands?) there is a display that shows how things are made including some working machines and a miniland-scale mock-up of a factory: (URL) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

  How bricks comes to be...

I found this wouderfull litle pice about how LEGO-bricks are made and I just have to share it. Apperently bricks aren't scraped of magic trees by tiny danish elves... I'm shocked. Very nice article and very nice torsos. I noticed that you did not mention the use of self adhesive labels. I know a lot of folks print directly to these labels and then just cut-and-peel them off and stick them on. You can even get the labels in (...)
