  Re: Web Host Concept

The problem with this model is that the "organization" has a certain limited amount of space, let's say 100 GB for example. Now, let's say two people join. Do you give them each 50 GB? Then no one else can sign on. Or do you give them 10 GB to use, (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, lugnet.animation)

Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(...) Perhaps it is true! I have to ask, doubtless it has been asked before but what's with the huge number of 2x2 bricks ? Duplo always had way too many of these and looking thru the parts inventory for the tubs i see it still (2x2's hugely (...)   Re: Lego Taikonaut

  Re: Lego Kiosk

(...) I don't know about the kiosks, but I've heard speculation that it wasn't great, but maybe a few kiosks will be put up by Waldenbooks. From what I've noticed, all the trains have been grouped into World City. The 4511 and 4512, the cargo crane (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Halloweeny Punkin'

(...) Oh geez...seems like I wasn't the only one to have that idea...I did the exact same thing for my pumpkin a week or so ago--it's EXACTLY the same pattern, but I used that for the back. The front is the standard Lego logo, with the portions in (...) (22 years ago, 4-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun)

  Lego Taikonaut

Received my first Lego astronaut, and I converted him into a Taikonaut. This one is inspired by taikonaut Yang Liwei, the former PLAAF pilot turned spaceman. He is China's first ever Taikonaut. His flight back in Oct. 15 of 2003 added a new word to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.underground)

Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(...) Fascinating theory. I'll go one further (while we're speculating).. watch the inventory! It may change. If this truly is a way to get rid of surplus, I could see the "extra" pieces changing. They're not printed on the bin unlike the first 400 (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.se)

Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(remembers the story about the lost shipping container of parts bound for Enfield, flippers, etc). Might be an (...)   Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

I was thinking the same thing. 13 white cones? What the? And so many singletom pieces (including 1x1 aqua bricks, and 3x3 corner slope blue). Truly bizarre... it almost looks like a dumping ground for leftover pieces. I could see myself buying a (...) (22 years ago, 5-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.se)

Re: 4405 Blue tub (1305 pieces) now available from S@H (UK)

(...) You're welcome. :-) Nice list Tobbe! In Denmark however, the 4014 is now much more expensive (150 DKK) than in Sweden! This gives 0.299 DKK per piece whereas the 4405 (399 DKK) is 0.305 DKK per piece, making it a very close call! Since I (...)
