Mark, the LEGO available from S@H varies a lot in different regions - they're
supplied from different warehouses. There are people around who will buy it for
you in another country, and ship it to the US, usually charging an extra fee.
Just ask in lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade newsgroup.

(...) Good suggestion. Another way (a bit more passive) is to put the item on your wanted list over on BrickLink, and if a seller starts selling it, you'll get notified by email. (21 years ago, 9-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)
