The point of all this being there is nothing on the LUGNET homepage that is
there upfront, in immediate view, that a newbie can go to help them with the
big Q: Im here, now what do I do to next?

Really the newbie needs to know what there after before they can get what they
want. Are they here at LUGNET to learn about LEGO sets, or are they looking to
find a club in their area, or do they wish to shop for LEGO, or just talk about
LEGO. I think once you know what it is that brought you to LUGNET in the first
place then its pretty easy to find what youre looking for from the main page.
I do agree that anyone just joining the LEGO online community can be overwelmed,
but thats true with pretty much any community when you first get involved.
