For panels, grab a World City train or two, it's loaded.
For smaller parts, go after the smaller Mini Star Wars sets.
To my knowledge, there are currently no smoke/trans-black radar dishes. Except
purhaps the one in the upcoming Millenium Falcon.
If you're willing to shell out some money on Bricklink, you do a search for Lego
Promotional sets such as the recent Japan-only Coca-Cola releases which offer
smoke 1x1 cones. Specifically a red crate sporting six of the rare cones.
Theres a couple other sets in this promotion that includes the cones, but the
red crate is offers the most for your money.
For some other nice smoke glass/windows, the Extreme Island "base" set has some
nice parts.
The current Designer "monkey" set has a few bionicle "teeth" in smoke.
There's more of course, but this should get you started.

| Which sets are the best source of parts in the new "smoke" color (as seen on the World City police sets for example) Especially smaller bits like plates, panels, radar dishes etc (22 years ago, 15-Sep-03, to lugnet.general)
