Well, I am a just-turned 17 very soon to be Eagle Scout who still subscribes
to the BSA official magazine, Boys Life. I was pleasantly surprised to find
two Lego mentions.
#1: A full page official ad for the Lego Star Wars Minis line. Page 17.
#2: Boy's Life hosts a yearly, IIRC, photo contest. This year's theme was
patriotism. Well, in the 12 to 17 year-old catagory, a 16 year-old won an
honorable mention for a lego diorama with many differant types of minifigs
and one holding the US flag. His statement was that the picture shows many
differant races (though really just torsos :-p ) gathering behind the flag
of our country. Page 17.
So go get your brother's, son's or cousin/nephew's Boy's Life and see this
neat Lego styled issue. Off topic, I know, but the whole photo contest
winner's article is very nice, check out that one on page 16, amazing! As a
note, 70% of Boy Scouts get the magazine, so if you know a scout, you know
where to find one!
