Statcounter.com isn't a program so much as it's a service. You add the code
to your page, they do the work on their servers. Unless you want to get
into configuring scripts to run on your ISP's servers, it's probably the
easiest way to go.

The registration is simple and again totally free. It's worth the few
minutes it takes to set up an account.

StatCounter doesn't provide much... just the basics, as you're looking for.
