Greetings,

Just noodling an idea to make a portable table for building on the run.
Actually, I wanted to have somthing with a large, collapsable area that made
access to the bricks easy.

This is an idea for a lego caddy.  It consists of a rolling unit with 6 or 8
drawers that swing via a pole that runs down the front, outside corner of
every shelf.  This would allow you to have more than one drawer open a time
and still be able to see them all and shuffle back and forth between them.

Additionally, the sides of the caddy would piano hinge two leaves as wide
and long as the side panels, coming up to create a long work surface.  Both
the top of the caddy and the leaves would have a 1' lip to prevent spillage.

Rough sketches of the overall unit and in operation.

Any carpenters out there want to lend their experience for possible
improvements and pitfalls?

Many thanks,
-Gil
