(...) If I recall correctly, this piece has been used for non-SW sets long before there was a LEGO "Star Wars" (airplane/airport sets in "Town", I believe). As such, it should *not* have a "SW" pattern number, but a "Town" pattern number. (Can (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.general)
