First of all, I'm not sure if this is the correct newsgroup for this but....

Does anyone know of a good model paint (Testor's maybe) color that matches
Lego's light grey?

(...) Actually, yes. I don't remember the exact name or number of the color, but it's one of the greys in the Testor's military/aircraft color pack you can buy. I painted a few Lego-mecha for a movie I made back in high school (*shudder*, both at (...) (23 years ago, 19-Mar-02, to lugnet.general)

I'm pretty sure there's a match in the Gunze Sangyo (sp?) line of water-based acrylic hobby paints. They're nicer for airbrushing indoors than solvent-based enamels. And I would recommend airbrushing -- no brush marks. My 2 cents. James Wilson (...) (23 years ago, 19-Mar-02, to lugnet.general)
