I don't know if anyone else has asked this in the past, but I was curious if
anyone has an explanation as to why LEGO seem to add prison/jails to such a
large percentage of lego sets?

Any ideas?

Have you never seen the a-team? Jails are for the good guys to break out
from! :)

Hmmm, for that, we'd need a serviceable LEGO minifig mohawk for
Mr. T.  I already know all the other parts I'd use.

The jails are a nice way to add playability. It allows opposing sides and
stories to be easily integrated. For town its a different story, you have to
have alot of jails so all those policemen/women have a place to put all the
people. And since most of the other town figures end up being race car
drivers, you know chronic speeding tickets are going to be a problem. :)

Top 10 Mr. T quotes:(IMOHO)
10. "You got a choice Jack, you either talk or you hurt"
9.  "This is dirt fool, which I'm going to stuff in your face if you don't
shut up."
8.  "When punks start hasseling decent people, I make it my bidness."
7.  "Your trademark is stupidity."
6.  "I'm going to shut this fool up for good."
5.  The whole "Toughest man in the World" theme song
4.  "I'm going to get those guys, I'm going to make them pay for messing up
my ride.
3.  "I ain't afraid to fly, and I ain't afraid of no monkeys either"
2.  "Your talking the finale to your life sucka, not having no fireing pins
when we were attacked by river pirates, ..?(I can't understand the word)..
and all the rest of those Amozonian Indians."

1. "I got no time for the jibba jabba"

I have .wav files of all these if anyone is interested.
