There might be a few who disagree with me on this, but I think something
needs to be done about this.  I'm very tired of checking out the BrickShelf
recent updates page to see it flooded with these annoying pixelated images.
I think this is just as bad as people using BrickShelf to upload pictures
for Ebay.

<snip>

How about if there was a box you could check when you upload new content
that places the files in a theme section (Castle, space, town, etc). The
"Recent" section could be divided by theme. For example, if I wished to
upload my latest boxcar creation, I would check off the "trains" box and the
file would automatically be stored in the relevant section. Anyone browsing
the recents section could pick from what theme he/she wanted to see pics. Is
this feasible(sp?)?

Just a suggestion...

Kevin, I disagree with this suggestion. The one thing I like about
Brickshelf is its lack of compartmentalized dorkedness compared to LUGNET.
There are a lot of times that I see things that are interesting me that I
would not go looking for.

Also, there is the issue of LEGO themes that sit in between the 'system'
themes e.g. Alpha Team is neither Space nor Town. Not to mention the whole
Train vs Town debate (Lar can FUT o-t.debate ;-).

I feel in time Bionicle, including these Avatars, will subside just like any
other sub-theme and will hardly be noticed except for a few diehards.

IcePlanet Rulez!!! <g>

Peace Out,

Jude
