Nope. As far as I can tell, they're just excess. Which is okay with me. It
sure beats a couple of extra 1x1 pips. I can actually combine the parts to
make a personal hover vehicle. ;)

| (...) use these parts? (...) We all know about the (so far) un-explained 2x2 round R2D2 bricks in the Statue of Liberty set...it also had extra larger bricks (like 2x8), whereas most extras are just 1x1 round plates, technic bushes & small stuff (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.general)
