Thanks for your nice words Pedro!
All the other stuff and the whole gallerie have been created to give a nice
background for the two (slighly different) Ju airplaines...
The basically design for the Ju has been made up by Klaus, then I liked his
irplane that much, that I asked him, if he could live with me building a copy.
But of course I improved his first draft in lots of the freaky details:
cockpit, and landing gear and shape of the wings are my main influence.
Then Klaus overtook the landing gear and cockpit arangement, but he even was
able to add some more details: the door, which can be opened, the black stripes
in the wings etc. Again I overtook some of this ideas. - In the end we have
had two airplanes and decided we both had put so many ideas into it, we had to
do a combined gallerie. Then we started some new background MOCs, which became
more and more and bigger and bigger...
I think there are far more than 150 hours of work gone into this gallery.
Building, arranging, story changes meant new building sessions later. Now we
have a CD with over 500 pictures. Frem these we had to chose the 10 for the
contest. That was a process for some hours too. Then story writing and picture
editing. We had lots of fun in the beginning and we are at least 99% satisfied
with our contest. But I could not live like usual in my small appartment, since
for three weeks there have been 2 dioramas of Lego standing just in the middle
of my living room. I was really happe the day tha last photos were taken and I
could at last destroy the airport and the ice-scenery again....
Kind Regards,
Ben
Btw: The fence with the spears has been built to join these two buildings:

The hangar has been torn down also: but the roof is still at life:
