This just sparked an idea...
As an nntp user, the sportlights are almost invisible to me. Would it be
possible to autogenerate a crosspost of some sort when a post makes the
spotlight list?
Just something to mull over...

| (...) I figure there's some fixed probability of any one post getting a response, so I beat the odds by posting a lot. Sooner or later, someone's *gotta* respond to something I say... It also helps that I'm not afraid to occasionally post obviously (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)
