To All,
Well, I guess I am an old fuddy-duddy here on LUGNET, I remember the
begininng and all.... somebody get me my wheelchair! ; )
I think LUGNET is changing, and it has too, there are a lot more people than
2 years ago. I know for myself I don't post as much simply because I discuss
a lot of things with people out of LUGNET, such as MichLUG stuff on Yahoo,
and my space story. But without LUGNET, I would have neither of these things.
I don't think there is a "old" LUGNET, but rather a changing, one. Some
good, some bad, but that's life.

There are reply's, but there aren't as many, with so many groups / etc.
> Now, it seems that the only extraordinary posts get recognition.
Not really, I get posts on my stuff! ; )

Hmm.... I really don't look for too many posts, a few is great, simply
because a lot people don't reply, and when they do, it is usually a nice job
kind of post, with little criticism. What I find is I ask specific questions
about something, such as do you like the way the nose came out, or something
like that, to heighten the possibility for feedback.

Well, I disagree with that, some topics are beyond my care range, such as
the latest HP stuff, or the Austrailan angle (Not to say there is anything
wrong with the fine AFOL community in Austrailia, just the liklihood of me
being involved with them is very remote). I liek the hightlighted articles,
especially if it is something of interest. I use both the e-mail and web
interface, but I do ackowledge the e-mail is harder, I stillc an't figure it
out half the time. : ) (Computer at work doesn't, the one home deos sometimes)

Man, then my site should have one then! I think this is Todd's new
direction, I think maybe we should consider getting a new admin for that,
though.

Well, that 1 spoiled apple ruined it, but I am glad it is resolved.

Ugh, no banners. I have enough sites with them, thank you.
I understand your concerns, maybe some can be addressed, but with anything
in life, things change, and sometimes you need to change with them. I am
still very happy LUGNET is here, even with the changes, because it really
has meant soemthing in my life, and I would not have the friends or
enjoyment of the brick that I have had in the 2 years isnce it launched.
