Hi folks!

Yesterday in the evening I have used the warm weather and the great sundown
light for a photoshooting session on 70ies 6-wide trucks and trains stuff.

So far there have been some wrong pictures online, which are now all exchanged.
As the experts certainly know TLC has done a change in desingn of all the
six-wide trucks in 1971:

- wheelblocks changed colour drom white to black, baseplates from grey to black
- doors changed from one piece painted ones to glued massive 2-part ones
(can be recognised by looking at the handle; painted version with vertical
handle, glued with horizontal ones.)
- trucks got printed light bricks (1x6x1), but lost the front coupling

Now all pictures show the models in nearly perfect condition and built in 100%
correct way.

Take a look at my page under the following URL to find my complete collection
of these big vehicles:

Kind Regards,

Ben

If you like these trucks, take a look at this small gallery of Karl-Heinz. He
used the black 6x4 plate with hole from the fire fighter boat and the rare 5x6
plate  from 722 to build a black truck. (he only had to paint a pair of old
doors in black, but Lego did the same job on their early designs).
