I found some info on a modelling page. Check this page out

There are some color photos of some spitfires under the aircraft reference
section, and some profiles a bit lower down under the heading "Camouflage
and Markings of No. 74 Sqn RAF (Part 1"
You also might see if your local library has any aviation materials with
spits in them.
