Greeting and Salutations!

May I first say what a great honour and relief it is to find more "Lego
Maniacs" out there like me. Although do I (Or more Did I) have nearly the
"Collections" of some of your members. I find it very reliving to now be
able to show my wife that Yes I'm still (even if pushing 30) still a kid at
heart and have some justification for having spent countless hundreds of
hours in sharing my Lego with my 3 children. I look forward to having them
continue the "imagination tradition".

Now to the reason I am posting this message. Firstly, My name is David De
Rainville, I live in Smithville, Ontario (About half way between Toronto and
Niagara Falls on the escarpment). Last December, my family and I were the
unfortunate victims of a terrible fire that consumed my precious Lego
collection of nearly 25 years. What I require is the kind help and advice
from any members willing to simply "Quote" me replacement prices. What I
requires is that anyone having the kits mentioned further down to please let
me know as soon as possible a sale price for my insurance company. Please
not that in no way do I wish to ask anyone to sell me their kits, simply to
say; "David, If I was to sell you this kit, it would cost this much...".
Should anyone however have one that he would wish to part with, I would very
much like to discuss terms. My reason for doing this is that my Insurance
company is simple labelling the as "Toys" and associating a "Standard"
replacement cost to them. I however strongly disagree. Lego's are not just a
toy, they are an Adventure, a learning tool, a sanity saver, a friend and
finally a very solid and lasting bridge between me and my children. I wish
this to be so again! Can you help?

Thank You!

David De Rainville

PS. Here is the list of my kits I have (Well had). Also note that each was
still accompanied by there original boxes and all associating booklets
