I just wanted to let all of my fellow LUGNETters know that I’m extremely
honored to have my web site, The Animated Brick Company Showcase, declared
the Cool LEGO Site of the Week for this week.
Back in mid-1999, I was just starting to poke around the Internet and was
happy to discover an already flourishing community of fellow LEGO
enthusiasts. The CLSotW was one of my early discoveries and has remained a
favorite of mine ever since.
When I finally got around to creating an online showcase for my stop motion
animation I, of course, had hopes that one day it would be named the Cool
LEGO Site of the Week. Well, that day has come and I couldn’t be prouder.
Thanks to all the folks that have stopped by my site during the last year
and taken the time to download and view my videos (I know it's a hassle). I
appreciate the feedback and compliments I’ve received – all of it has
encouraged me to stick with it and keep moving those little pieces of ABS a
fraction of an inch, then taping a frame, then moving it another bit, then
taping a frame, then moving it again…
Next stop for the ABC: BrickFest – where I’ll be showing off some new LEGO
animation (as well as some of the old favorites). Hope to see everyone there.
Thanks to Todd & Suz and everyone else here at LUGNET without whom my
interest in LEGO would not be the raging, fanatical obsession it is today.
