Subject:	how do I use this technic 9v motor I bought?

I just picked up one of the old style 9v technic motors and I am having a problem. http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/registry/9volt/2838.gif it works just fine when I just run it so the motor is ok. If I make it into a vechicle however, it works when I hold it in the air but not when I put it on the bench, carpet, floor, tiles, desk etc etc etc. I guess I am doing something wrong with the gears I am using (I tried with various combos, including an 8 teeth on the motor and a 24 teeth on the driveshaft but that didnt work), choice of wheels or something. Can someone point me to a set (or MOC) that shows how to use the old style 9v motor with one of the folowing wheel types? the 30.4x14VR (as used on the red speed slammers car) http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/registry/wheel/2994.gif the 49.6x28VR (as used on the boss roborider & the millenium slizer) http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/registry/wheel/6595.gif the 43.2x28S (as used on the "mud masher") http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/registry/wheel/6580.gif I can also get some of the 13x24 hubs (as used in model team sets & the 8835 forklift & also the 8255 rescue trike) but it will be time consuming to get hold of them so I dont want to if I dont need to. http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/registry/wheel/2695.gif I want to know what gears etc I should be using to get this thing working with the wheels I have. To make overcoming this problem easier, and to make the motors more efficient, the new motors contain some gears inside to slow down the output speed and increase the (...) (...) Yeah, this motor usually needs to be geared down two or three times to get a sufficient amount of torque. Most of the official sets seem to use pulleys and rubber belts rather than gears (probably because these are much quieter than gears) but (...)
