I recently bought a whole whack of misc Lego and instructions.  However, I
have found that I have pieces that have no instruction booklets and I don't
know where they go.  I have searched through the thumbnails, but I can't
seem to locate any scans with similar pieces.  The pieces are a brown
bridge, a brown boat (small), and several tall cylindrical pillars or posts
that are black.  I thought someone out there who knows more about Lego than
I could perhaps shed some light for me.  I would appreciate any help I could
get!  Thanks. Dawn

The bridge probobly came from a pirate island or mabie from a forestman set.
The boat probobly came from pirates somewhere (you might have a pirate island
in there, it comes with the bridge and boat)

The pillars could either be pirate masts (from pirate sets) or they could be
from a set like the bat lords castle, I think that had some black pillars.

Or the bridge and the brown boat (depending on HOW small) could both be from
5986 Amazon Ancient Ruins (which would suggest that the lot is newer than if
the pieces were from pirate sets as Jonathan suggests).  I would look at the
minifigs (if any) that came in the lot for more clues-- are there pirates or
imperial soldiers, or newer adventurer figures?  That might give you an idea.
