I was noticing the same thing the one time I tried it. It was pure
happenstance that I left the screen alone (after the language selector) for
a few minutes only to see the thing finally start. I doesn't communicate
anything to the effect that something is downloading but apparently it was.
Of course, I decided the thing was worthless (especially compared to
previous years) and haven't gone back.
What I can't get to work is the Studios films. I have the latest versions
of IE, Flash, and Media Player on Win98 but all I get is the sound without
the picture. I don't want to see them badly enough yet to download QT.
