Taking out my bag of VOL (Very Old Lego) which _should_ be from the 50's, I
find 3 plates 6x8 (I don't remember reading the previous thread, were you
discussing only plates larger than that?)- two white, one red - all waffled.
There is no Lego logo on the studs, but on the underside a small 'Lego' can be
seen. All the bricks in that bag are tubeless, and many have slots for the old
windows.
Those pieces come from my wife's cousin, who grew up in the 50's.

I have some of these too, in my original Lego collection, but that box is
still at my parent's, so I can't check the type...
There should be some of the curved plates too in that box - I must remember to
pick it up next time...
