Here's a mistake you might hope for. Each of my kids got a black soccer
bus from S@H (presumably from the same packaging run). One had all the
right pieces, but the other contained an extra window (unfortunately
sans glass). Upon closer inspection we discovered that this set was
missing the head/torso of the Johnny Thunder twin (which lends credence
to the theory that the boxes are checked by weight). When we called
Customer Service for a replacement, the rep was chuckling because she
could hear my son in the background saying, "Tell her it's Johnny,
Mom!" It seems she thought he had named each member of the team. She
didn't know which fig we were referring to so we told her it was the
moustached one with the hair on the side. A few days later my son
received an envelope in the mail containing BOTH of the moustached
torso/heads that come with the set!
I didn't have the chutzpah to ask for window glass for the extra window.

| (...) During last nights sorting run, I noticed another packing error. I forget which sets it was, but I was breaking down 2 sets, and wound up with an odd number of control sticks, and an odd number of 1x1 plates with clip to hold rod horizontal. (...)
