Thanks Eric, I was thinking either 32 of 48, but for some reason I just
couldn't remember.

Yes 32 is the width of the regular road plated. 48 is the width of the large gray plates. 50 is the width of the 60's - 70's version of the same gray plate. 50 is also the size of the very first road plate, the '68-'71 (Samsonite only) 50x50 (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)
