Hello all, I wanted to ask you lugnetters if any of you have any local LEGO
competitions (outside of LUGNET) in your area.  We have one in the Hobby
building at our state fair in Great Falls, MT.  After about 6 years of
building models for competition, I asked the guy in charge if I could judge
the LEGO models this year.  He agreed and this year I got to decorate the
display cases with some of my old box tops and judge all the LEGO models, it
was really fun!  But with being a judge, also came some special privelages.  I
got to have my Castle in a special display case that my dad and I designed,
that could be viewed from all sides!  I also had business cards on the case,
so people could check out my website.  It was a great success!

Sorry for all my mindless rambling, but I guess what I'm asking is, have any
of you been part of a LEGO competition in your area?  I would really like to
hear about it.

Wilson
