Hello,

I'm rather new to Lugnet, having only ressurected my interest in Lego about 6
months ago. I have a few queries regarding Lego minifigs, especially their
heads.

Lego Castle 6091 has this little female knight with a rather cool head. Not
quite the dreamy look most other female heads have, but a confident redhead
look. Do any other sets have this headpiece, or is it unique to 6091? Jet from
the Rock Raiders has a similar face, but she has that commlink painted on her
face which makes it rather out of place for Castle figures.

Slightly off-topic from castle, but I'm also trying to build a nice pirate
village - Melee Island from The Secret of Monkey Island. Guybrush is easy to
make with any cute head and some brown hair. For Governor Marley I was thinking
of using the head I mentioned in the previous paragraph (but I don't wanna lose
my coolest knight - I only have one of those heads) and slap a bandana on her.
The problem comes when I want to make a LeChuck. Are there any black beards in
Lego (somthing like Majisto's white beard would be nice). I was thinking of
using Darth Vader's grey head, although if anyone knows of any good green heads
with red eyes that would also be nice. I've tried Insectoid and Stingray heads,
but they don't quite fit.

Thank you

Ian

Hi Ian! Welcome to lugnet! The female castle faces are restricted to set 6091, unfortunately. You might try taking an exacto knife and scraping off the microphone paint on the rock raiders babe's face. So far, the Majisto's Beard element has only (...) (...) OK, duh, I get it. No sleep does strange things to people...:-) Thanks, btw. I'll be taking you up on that offer rather soon, methinks... -Chris (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.general)
