Here is what you do:
Get a sample of the lego community, AFOLS, lego loving kids (with AFOL
and non AFOL parents), non afol parents etc.
Get a non junorized fire station set like flame fighters ot whatever
represents the pinicle of lego town and get the current junorised fire
station (which represents the worst of lego town...) and then give both
sets, one after the other to each person in the sample group. let them
play/look at/whatever the sets and gove their opinions on which is
better.
Which one would the kids like to play with more?
Which one would the AFOLS like to play with more?
Which one would the parents buy? (this is the really important one,
especially what the non afol parents would say, because they probobly
dont know a thing about junorisation. Make sure that some kind of retail
price figure is quoted for both sets, because that will affect the
outcome)
Then write this all up and find out the real feelings on junorisation.
Then package it up all nicely into a professional looking report and
give it to TLG. This will (hopefully) prove that junorisation is not
good.
N.B. I chose fire stations because the current one is good example of
junorisation and there are good ones to compare it to.
