They do have clips in the bottom for studs to grip into- if you look at a
picture, the space between the "feet" fits a 2x pattern. It's packaged with
2x2 plates so you can connect the stands into a display, but you could do other
things with them.
They don't afford a whole lot of building opportunity- especially if they all
have their theme name carved into them- but they do have some. I only have two
packs of them right now, but as I get more I look forward to finding
interesting ways to utilise the peices. I have a few ideas already.
