Hello Jamie,
My condolences go out to you. I lost my father to AIDS a few years ago. I was
very derpressed too. But I remember going out and buying the Searcher Sub as a
sort of Lego therapy kit. A few years before that I used to drink way too much
beer and booze. Till one day I kind of said to myself "Wow Dan that's alot of
$$$ you're pouring down your neck. Why don't you spend that $$ on Lego and that
way you'll a) not be drinking, b) have Lego c) have Lego for your kids. So
that's what I did. Every time I wanted to drink I bought a Lego set or small
kit. Needless to say, the first year I bought a ton of Lego. I ended up beating
my alcoholism and regained some self control in my life.
Everybody copes in different ways. I wish you strength and patience in coming
to terms with your loss.
