| | | To put in my 2 cents...I'd say the set is a fake. My reasoning is: 1) Step 1 uses a 2x2 corner plate, which I don't believe were available then. [It is also shown as a 2x2 plate here] 2) In step 2 this piece changes shape into 2 2x1's 3) Step 4 (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-00, to lugnet.general)

| | | | (...) The 4x4 turntables arrived in 1963 (soon after the wheels in 1962). The first occurrances were the white turntables without a square base. They were produced in parts pack 401. I am not sure as to the authenticity of this set, but it sounds (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.general)
