Is 25% off enough?

A Kmart near my house has a ton of Lego on a clearance shell at 25% off. Is
this a good enough discount to buy up a lot of 'em? 0r should I hold out for
more? Walmart usually goes 50%, sometimes more, but right now they don't have
any sets I want. And TRU - do they even know what sales or clearance is.
There's one near me that has 5 copies of 6048 Majisto's Magical Workshop at
full price from 1993(!?) - seven years ago!! I tried to talk to the manager to
see if they would them down so I could buy all 5. Not a chance. Wuzupwidat? No
wonder everyone shops Target, Kmart and Walmart - they mark 'em down after ONE
year. So, anyway, is 25% off enough?

| It all depends on how badly you want the sets. If any of them are rare or have badly needed pieces, then 25% off is fine. If you just want to bulk up your collection, then I would definitely hold out. Check out some of the deals on the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Trust me, you'll make it all back, if only in goodwill from .castle traders. :) Then, figure out which sets are clearanced and which ones you want or need--my own discount price point depends on the (...) | (...) Depends on the set - if it's Model Team, 25% off is usually great. If it's Town Jr., forget it (they are often passable even at 50% off). (...) TRU has been pretty lame lately re: clearances. Multiple local stores have had Time Cruisers sets (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
