Well. After an uphill walk to Lego Australia's office I now have 3 (plus one
for me!) Catalogues. (first in first sent). It's more instuctive to list what
isn't in it more than what is since by now you should all have an idea of the
new products in you favourite line.
Please note all the following comments apply to system/Technic since I have no
interest in Primo/Duplo/Basic/Belville. Which is unfortunate since the above
takes up nearly half the thing.

Anyway. On with the show...
Firstly. NO SERVICE INSERT! Someone had better check but it would seem that
LegoAustralia has withdrawn it's parts service. All I can say is this had
better be in preperation for that LEGO DIRECT thing the merrycans are raving
about.

No Mickey. :) but we know it's coming :(

No new adventurers, none of the Egypt and only the small jungle sets, no
blimp. (is this 'cause no-one liked it or 'cause it sold out?) There is half a
TRex sticking i's nose in and a paragraph saying after summer (whose summer do
they mean? we've had our and the enxt one's in the new year).

No Ninja! even though this theme is continued in other places it seems it's
not being carried in Au.

No UCS Star Wars or Millennium Falcon.

No radio control (despite a URL)

Only four of eight slizers are pictured although all the set numbers are
listed. Again there is a teaser in the corner of the slizer page saying the
roboriders are out in June (the new slizers are out in March).

Now for inclusions

FOUR pages of computer software!
Trains in main catalogue ('cause there's no service)
All four kinds of soccer(football) bus.
Web page references EVERYWHERE!

Conclusions.
1/ As said elsewhere this is only a half year catalogue (which explains most
of the missings listed above). We could speculate on whether this is Great
Silly Tax related but it could be because Lego ships twice(three?) times a
year to here.

2/ LEGO loves I.T. (4 pages games, 3 pages Cybermaster/Mindstorms)<sigh> stick
to what you know best I say.

3/ Ah, I've rambled for long enough.
The catalogue is free so I'll scan it when I have 2 minuites together
meanwhile, keep an eye out, it should be in shops in a fortnightish.(give or
take 12 days...)

James.
